For more than 60 years, Forest Hills Park Association has been the heartbeat of our neighborhood—a place that draws families here and inspires them to stay. Across generations, the park has shaped the character and spirit of our close-knit community. The pool, in particular, has been where lifelong friendships begin, families gather and create memories, and neighbors of every age come together to stay active, connect, and belong.
The original board worked with residents to fund this transformational project. For generations, the pool has shaped the memories of those who grew up here and inspired new families to put down roots. While memories last, facilities do not. Tireless maintenance has kept the pool open every summer for 60+ years, far beyond the average lifespan of a public pool. Without immediate and significant investment, it will reach the end of its life. A complete replacement is the only option to preserve this cherished space.

In response to Kennari’s feasibility study, the board worked with MMA to significantly reduce the scope of the project from the original conceptual design. The revised scope – a new pool and clubhouse - was estimated to cost approximately $2.9 million. This cost was confirmed by a 2nd construction estimate in Dec 2021. The board developed the following revenue plan to fund the project:
