joining the Forest hills park association

When you become a member of the Forest Hills Park Association, you not only get to enjoy the pool and beautiful park grounds but you become part of something bigger — a close-knit community where you'll create lifelong memories and friends. The FHPA also brings an abundance of opportunities for staying active from swimming and tennis to pickleball and volleyball. Plus, kids can enjoy the playground and wide open spaces for them to run and play.

You'll be able to attend any of the number of community events and activities held during the season including local Food Trucks, area fitness instructors, movie nights, happy hours, and more.

We have three types of memberships to accommodate a variety of households: Resident, Non-Resident, and Resident Single/Empty Nester. See below for more information.

resident members

Annual dues: $495

Homes in the original neighborhood bound by Fulton (South) and Forest Hill (West), not including the newer homes in "The Vineyards".

Non-resident members

Joining fee: $100

Annual dues: $630

Homes outside the original neighborhood bound by Fulton (to the North) and Forest Hill (to the East). Newer homes in "The Vineyards" are Non-Resident.

Members have access to the Park, Pool, FHPA Events, Swim Team and FHPA  (Swim and Sports) Lessons for children who live within the home.

resident empty-nesters

Annual dues: $230

This option was created for residents of the Forest Hills Plat who either have no children in the home or, more often the case, residents who used to be family membership members and no longer have children in the house. They have access to the park and pool and FHPA events. These members are not eligible for adding anybody to lessons or swim team. Primarily, this membership type is used by residents who no longer regularly use the pool because their children are of adult age but who still want to help financially support the FHPA and occasionally bring a visiting grandchild to the pool.

How to become a member

Our membership drive takes place every spring with registration forms being mailed to all Forest Hills Plat residents and existing non-resident members the first week in March. Our by-laws only allow for a limited number of non-resident memberships each year. Non-resident member prospects who are unable to join immediately may choose to be added to our waitlist.
